Does one's attire affect one's housekeeping ability?

Today I am wearing a blue linen dress in what could only be described as sailor colors. For dinner, I made two-potato chowder (a misnomer, as it contains four potatoes in all, two sweet and two baking, in the same vein as three-bean salad and nine-grain bread) fresh corn on the cob, and cream cheese brownies.

You could taste America, and several hours worth of Lassie reruns in every bite. If you don't believe me, come on over for leftovers.

My entries are shrinking, lately. It's become increasingly rare for me to acheive text that extends south of the Chococat triplets. Maybe being around all those hyperactive kids has shortened my attention span. I'm beginning to start with a pithy thought, then run away. Maybe I've just developed a new desire to quit while I'm ahead, pith-wise.

If there is an underused phrase in the English language, it's pith-wise.
