17 November 2002 - 1:14 p.m. Correction and MixesI am not actually a fan of old man noses. I was trying to rhyme something with "old man clothes." As I have said many times in the last few weeks, I am no poet. Anyone with suggestions for my mix CD to be played at the reading on Sat. should sign my guestbook. The working themes are sugar daddies, drag queens, and songs about honeys of various types. Oh, and maybe wine references to allow for Bobby Darin's "Beginning to See the Light." But no "Red, Red, Wine," if you please. Current candidates include: Queen: "Killer Queen" and/or "Dreamer's Ball" Hedwig and the Angry Inch Soundtrack: "Sugar Daddy" Janis Joplin: "Tell Mama" Three Dog Night: "Mama Told Me Not to Come" The Beatles: "Honey Don't" and/or "Honeypie" Perry Como: "Papa Loves Mambo" And I'm pretty sure "Big Spender" would be too muhc, but we'll see. What I'm wearing: What I'm reading: What I'm doing after this: - - 07 May 2005 Wheee! - 02 November 2004 Inside of my fridge. - 28 October 2004 TV is Stupid. - 24 September 2004 "The only paperback writer who would drive a Buick is like, Tom Clancy." -Gus - 20 September 2004 |
