24 May 2002 - 9:44 a.m. Pale dreams and salad cravingsUgh. Up much earlier today, but being in pain will do that to you, I guess. I also woke up with "I've Got My Mind Set On You" in my head. I wish I could tell you what that meant. I have been informed that I "look pale." I never really know what to do with that information, except maybe feel pale. I certainly felt pale in a dream I had last night, in which I kept swooning, and coughing up gobs of mucous the size of golf balls. Needless to say, I hope that was not a prophetic dream. What is everybody reading this summer? I plan to finish HP today and start on some real books, but lately I can't seem to find much I like. There are always Aitch's essays, but I was thinking of saving them for next year in case I get homesick. But seeing as how you all have read my diary enough, you might have an idea about what I might like, and since you're all such intelligent and discerning people (for once, that was NOT sarcasm) what you suggest may well be in the CoMputer U library. At least, I'm hoping it will be, as I been shunned from all the other ones in town. I'm also pretty good at reading, inasmuch as I know how to do it. I'm better at reading than I am at crocheting. I will leave the plastic bag project to you, amd anyone else who may crochet that I don't know about. I have a craving for tossed salad - exceedingly odd for 10 am, I know. Hey. how was salad invented? Serious replies only, please. What I'm wearing: What I'm reading: What I'm doing after this: - - 07 May 2005 Wheee! - 02 November 2004 Inside of my fridge. - 28 October 2004 TV is Stupid. - 24 September 2004 "The only paperback writer who would drive a Buick is like, Tom Clancy." -Gus - 20 September 2004 |
