How can I not be drawn into a school at which it is possible to hear one secretary address another as "Honeypiiiiieeee!" while standing in line outside the financial aid office? I ask you.

I am writing, which is good, but fear that I am living exclusively for film class. We have no text book, and if RHWD were in his office right now, I'd probably stroll down and ask him for some extra work. I'd happily swing six more hours a week if it meant I got to read film theory. Oooh, baby.

So my graduate experience finds me making a lot of the same mistakes as I did during my undergraduate experience, only I'm far enough South that people say things like "Honeypie."

Pardon me, but I'm off to the library to pick up some recreational reading on genre.
