24 February 2004 - 5:34 p.m. "This isn't good for my rage." - R. GellarI was watching Elvis '56 and reading all this stuff about the 60s for my homework(!) yesterday, and it made me think, "God, people were stupid! The Cold War was turning everyone into a freak and yet people wanted to blame Elvis and The Beatles for all the problems in the world?" And then I thought about how people have the exact same reaction to rap and Britney Spears today. Even though we're in the middle of 87527890 wars and the quality of life is plummeting for way too many hardworking Americans. We need jobs. My friend John wants a husband. Donald Rumsfeld is reading my grandmother's email. Dude. The New New Left. Who's with me? What I'm wearing: Gray pants, gray sweater. What I'm reading: The Sixties: Years of Hope, Days of Rage. What I'm doing after this: Drinking tea and planning the revolution. - - 07 May 2005 Wheee! - 02 November 2004 Inside of my fridge. - 28 October 2004 TV is Stupid. - 24 September 2004 "The only paperback writer who would drive a Buick is like, Tom Clancy." -Gus - 20 September 2004 |
